Candidates have to appear in Joint Entrance Examination (JENPARH) and accordingly admission takes place through e-counseling and seat is allotted according to rank order. JENPARH

Examination: For the academic session of 2018-19, the Board will conduct common
entrance examinations titled JENPAUH-2018 for admission to following courses in
Colleges/ Institutes in the State of West Bengal.
a) B.Sc. Nursing (Bachelor of Nursing)
b) B.P.T. (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)
c) B.A.S.L.P. (Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology)
d) B.M.L.T (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technician)

Syllabus of Examination: The tests will be based on 11th and 12th standard syllabi
of Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) under West Bengal Council of Higher
Secondary Education (WBCHSE)

Schedule of JENPAUH-2018:

JENPAUH-2018 Physics & Chemistry Biological Sciences

27th May 2018 (Sunday) 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

No further examination shall be held under any circumstances for those who will be
unable to appear on the above-scheduled date and time.

The pattern of Question Papers.
The test will consist of two papers namely

a) Physics & Chemistry (full marks 100) and
b) Biological Sciences (full marks 100).

Each paper will contain fifty (50) questions. All questions will be of Multiple
Choice Question (MCQ) type, with four answer options. Time for each paper is 2

Eligibility criteria for appearing in JENPAUH-2018:

a) Citizenship: Applicant must be a citizen of India.
b) Lower age limit (for all courses): Not less than 17 years as on 31st December 2018.
c) Upper age limit (for B.Sc. Nursing and B.P.T courses): No upper age limit.
d) Upper age limit (for B.A.S.L.P. course): Not more than 25 years as on 31st December 2018.
e) Upper age limit (for B.M.L.T. course): Not more than 40 years as on 31st December 2018.

Eligibility criteria for admission: B.Sc. Nursing
B.Sc. Nursing (only ‘female’ candidates are eligible):
The candidate must pass H.S. (10+2) examination of the West Bengal Council of
Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent from any recognized
Board/Council (refer to the list of Recognized Boards given in Appendix-7) in regular class mode.
The candidate must pass in science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical, wherever applicable) in each of the subjects.

The candidate must also secure minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC-A & B, PwD
candidates) marks in aggregate at 10+2 level.
The candidate has to be medically fit to undergo the course.

During online application, the candidate has to choose any 2 (two) of the following
examination zones.

Vacation:
Students are not permitted to have absenteeism during the course, but they will avail summer vacation, Puja vacation and other calendar leaves as per institutional rules.
